Economic Oil Upgrading

Our system instantaneously breaks stable emulsions, reduces or eliminates H2S content, and separates asphaltenes, sulfur, solids, and other contaminants, resulting in a dramatic reduction of viscosity, density, and acidity without using diluents, heat or other chemicals.

Alfaluz's proprietary chemical Petromax®. quickly separates contaminants from heavy oil during the production process without the use of diluents, resulting in increased yield that is pipeline-ready.

Step one instantaneously breaks the emulsion, eliminates H2S, and temporarily reduces the viscosity and density of heavy oil. 

Step two separates solids, sulfur, asphaltenes, crystalized paraffin, heavy metals and some salts.

Step three separates the oil from water.
